The Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings Review [XBOX 360]

After its initial release for PC, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings has arrived on the XBOX 360, much to the delight of console gamers everywhere. The PC release had critics and fans alike comparing to 2011’s game of the year, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Are these comparisons worthy or would The Witcher 2 fall short of the hype?

Yoshi's 2 Cents: Bastion Review [Xbox 360]

ED: Yoshi’s 2 Cents is a semi-regular segment on gaming pioneered by FatYoshi.  Every once in a while, there’s a game that slipped your playlist or you simply ran out of time to review upon release.  This is such a case, and since the game was worthy of mention, you get the shorten version or a late review.

Let me tell you about a little game called Bastion. As an indie game, it won’t get as much coverage as the full blown franchises that frequent the headlines. Admittedly I didn’t pay it much attention until a friend of mine recommended it to me and insisted I play it. Turns out it was a well-founded recommendation because the game is amazing.

Yoshi's Two Cents: Mass Effect Review [PC]

ED: Yoshi’s 2 Cents is a semi-regular segment on gaming pioneered by FatYoshi.  Every once in a while, there’s a game that slipped your playlist or you simply ran out of time to review upon release.  This is such a case, and since the game was worthy of mention, you get the shorten version or a late review.

Space opera is a term that’s easily thrown around in the gaming and sci-fi world. By definition, a space opera is a grandiose undertaking that features plenty of drama, action, suspense, and romance. BioWare, taking what they’ve learned from the Knights of the Old Republic series, brought us Mass Effect in 2007 (2008 on the PC), arguably one of  the finest space operas ever created.

Dead Island Review [Xbox 360]

You know what I find really ruins a sunny and relaxing vacation: Zombies. Out of the plethora of locations I’ve played zombie-games in, none have been as unique as the bright and cheerful ocean-side resort of Dead Island. It’s a juxtaposition that works to great effect; however, it isn’t without some bugs and glitches that hampers the experience.
