Yoshi's 2 Cents: Fifa Street [Xbox360]

ED: Yoshi’s 2 Cents is a semi-regular segment on gaming pioneered by FatYoshi.  Every once in a while, there’s a game that slipped your playlist or you simply ran out of time to review upon release.  This is such a case, and since the game was worthy of mention, you get the shorten version or a late review.

A preface on this review is that I don’t really like soccer. I’ve tried to enjoy it and I’ve watched quite a bit of it but I just can’t get into it. That said, I love sports games and I’ve enjoyed all of EA’s Street titles. Unfortunately, this game doesn’t have the same feeling of older “street” titles. Still fun but it’s definitely lost its street cred.

E3 2011 Predictions [E3 2011]

The Electronic Entertainment Expo is taking over downtown Los Angeles next week and we’re expecting all kinds of great announcements, a ton of new information, and something that looks like utter chaos. We can certainly expect Sony to discuss the NGP, Microsoft will push exclusivity, Nintendo will reveal what ‘Project Cafe’, and we’ll get some more information on 2011’s heavy hitters. You can also expect a host of surprises coming our way too.

PSN Down, Personal Information Compromised [PS3]

Sony has often touted the PS3 to be a fully locked and secure system that will never be hackable.  Never say never when it comes to a hacker’s determination as the PS3 was eventually jailbroken by “Geohot”.  Those who have been following Sony’s crusade in crucifying well-known hacker George “Geohot” Hotz know that the Japanese giant has angered many in the hacker community.  Don’t be surprised that this recent episode is a result of retribution.  Karma is a bitch, isn’t it Sony?
