Yoshi's 2 Cents: Dungeon Defenders [PC]

ED: Yoshi’s 2 Cents is a semi-regular segment on gaming pioneered by FatYoshi.  Every once in a while, there’s a game that slipped your playlist or you simply ran out of time to review upon release.  This is such a case, and since the game was worthy of mention, you get the shorten version or a late review.

Dungeon Defenders is an interesting combination of both tower defense and action RPG. The game was released for PC on October 19, 2011 and has managed to sell over a million copies through Steam. The game keeps fresh with a seemingly never ending amount of DLC and most of it is free, including the recently released Etherian Festival of Love for Valentine’s Day.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Review [Xbox 360]

 

The newest edition of Modern Warfare has been released and as usual it’s sold millions of copies and managed to create a divide on the internet between haters and lovers of the game. This asks the question of whether the haters have a point or is this just an easy target for the trolls?

Twisted Metal Multiplayer Preview [PS3/GamesCom]

It’s been almost four years since we last had a Twisted Metal game and it’s clear that David Jaffe and his team at Eat Sleep Game have been working hard to make the Sweet Tooth’s comeback as evil and awesome as possible. Having seen the huge boss battles in single player, it was good to get hands on with, arguably, the driving force (no pun intended) of a game like Twisted Metal—the multiplayer. I jumped behind the wheel of Sweet Tooth’s ice cream truck and went for a joyride.

Crysis 2 Multiplayer Preview [PC]

Crysis 2 is set to release on March 22 on PC, 360, and PS3.  But is this the game you are all waiting for or is it something you should pass up?  From the time I’ve spent in the multiplayer demo, I can say it certainly has potential.
