Everyone is Going Green!

Nintendo is showing no signs of reducing support for the now replaced Nintendo DS. Nintendo announced this week via press release that, just in time for Mother's Day, a new colored DS limited edition bundle will be released on May 2. The new Green DS (which can only be described as a slight shade beneath neon) will include a special carrying case and a copy of Personal Trainer: Cooking.
The new bundle will be available on May 3, which just happens to be a week before Mother's Day (hint, hint). Just like everyone else, moms are always looking for new and interesting meal ideas. Personal Trainer: Cooking includes more than 245 recipes from around the world, along with step-by step instructions for how to prepare them.
Is anyone else really sick of the direct marketing towards casual gamers? I believe it's great that your mother and grandmother are getting interested in your hobby and passions but do we really need to compete with Wii-Fit and cooking trainers for screen time? Looks like the Nintendo machine isn't slowing down anytime soon.
