This stick as been on pre-order since February and finally decided to come in to my local EB Games last week. MSRP on this stick was $179.99 CDN so it's not the cheapest peripheral but for me, it's one of those things that I've always wanted. Plus, if you factor in the cost of building my own, it works out to be about the same if I want a comparable one.
As you can see from the unboxing video, this is a very large arcade stick, not quite the size of the X-Arcade sticks but it's hefty enough to have that real arcade feel. The buttons are very responsive and the stick is exactly like the arcade version. All the buttons are there for the PS3 version and the USB cord is neatly tucked away in the back with a plastic drop door. There's a section on the upper left hand corner of the stick that houses the turbo and controller for the stick functions (you can switch the stick to emulate the left or right analogue stick of the Dual Shock controller).
There you go, initial impressions of this very expensive but very limited arcade stick. If you fancy yourself a true Street Fighter fan, you owe it to yourself to play test one of these. You won't regret it! Full written review coming soon!
