Epic Fail

Dear Readers, if you were here today, you might have seen a post titled "MacRumors Gets Jacked". That was a post I had written earlier and was scheduled to upload this afternoon. But somewhere along the line, my MacBook Pro decided to have a fit. Needless to say, I've lost that post (and it was a long one too) since the information was located on the MacBook and not on the server.
But that's not my real problem. After coming home tonight, I proceeded to boot up my MacBook Pro as I was settling down to write. I noticed that it was running a bit sluggish so decided to do a reboot. Upon rebooting, my external keyboard didn't work and neither did my mouse. I unplugged both and my built in keyboard or trackpad didn't work either. So the smart man I was, I decided to pop in my OSX restore disc in hopes to try and boot from it. The noob that I was to OSX, I forgot that there's no physical eject button on the MBP.
So now, I'm left without a Mac, without my notes, and without my podcast studio. But have no fear, I'm booked in to see the Geniuses on Saturday so hopefully they can fix it. It's still under warranty but they thing was a refurbished unit. So we'll see what's up.
At the very least, I can write up my first Genius Bar experience after this! But as for the site's schedule, I'll still be doing the GamerWok Hour this weekend but regular posts will have to wait until I figure out what's up with the Mac. Thanks for visiting and while you're waiting, check out some of the more popular posts and listen to some of the past episodes of the podcast!
