At CES 2009, the mega-ton announcement was hands down delivered by Palm. This is a company that hasn’t released a new Smartphone since the Treo. Sure there was the Centro but who the hell used that? If you’ve listened to the latest episode of GamerWok Hour, you would have heard my praises of the Palm Pre. However I feel that it’s necessary to clarify my excitement so read on to see what makes the Palm Pre a serious contender for the Smartphone of choice in 2009.
