- I have received a few emails commenting on last week's episode on the i7 launch. The consensus is that it's a great architecture and that I wasn't nearly excited enough about it. Truth be told, I'm very excited but maybe it came across as a bit more synical than usual. Gizmodo explains it pretty well but the truth and my point was that it's a very costly upgrade for most and that the immediate gains won't be fully realized until software catches up to the current hardware.
