Try reading on that!
HarperCollins, one of the largest book publishers in the world, is partnering with Nintendo to bring literary classics to the Nintendo DS. Joining the leagues of other "edutainment" software titles already in the line up will be "The 100 Classic Book Collection". Titles expected to be appear include works of Shakespeare, Dickens, Austen, Bronte sisters, and other classical writers.

I think this is an excellent idea. I currently use DSlibris to read ebooks on my DS and it is great. However, official ebook support would be more than welcome. I don't find the screen too small at all, in fact, I have used some eBook readers and am more comfortable with the small footprint of the DS when held for long periods of time.
I've tried using eBook readers on the DS but I find the screen too small, and the dual screens sort of distract me from page to page. I've used the iPhone to do light reading but I'm still sticking to either audio books or a device such as a kindle. Thanks for your comments!
I completely disagree with gaywad DSeBookFan. This is a horrible idea for mainly two rasons.
1. Nintendo will be offering downloadable content which will be downloaded to their cartridge, the con is that space will be limited, unlike a current DS flash cart which has the ability to use 32gb microSD cards when they come out.
2. You cannot add your own eBooks, you can only download want Nintendo wants you to download. I also wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo charges you for each book you download.
So all I'm saying is get yourself a flash cart for the Nintendo DS an just get "dslibris", probably one of the best portable eBook readers I have everseen, so good in fact that I can call a masterpiece for the DS.
Hi. Good site.
