South Korean Army to Train Gundam Pilots

As Engadget pointed out, South Korean Army released some pictures of their upcoming high-tech battle suits.  This is certainly a Halo fanboy's wet dream.  According to Engadget, technical enhancements include a multifunctional helmet that has integrated video transmitter, GPS display and Voice Recognition, a backpack with friend/foe detection system (that's right, no more TK's you bastards), a BDU capable of detection of nuclear, biological and chemical attacks.  But the cream of the crop is the XK11 assault rifle.  This badass assult rifle not only looks like something Master Chief would use but is capable of shooting both NATO 5.56mm rounds and 20mm grenades.  Per Engadget, here's the youtube video showing the gun in action.

These suits are cool to look at but how well will they function in battle is anyone's guess.  I suppose that question will be answered when South Korea invades North Korea and they successfully ushers in the new Universal Century.
